Research Information Management System (RIMS) Support
System Overview
The Research Information Management System (RIMS) is a web-based portal at The University of Hong Kong that facilitates the management of research outputs, grants, agreements, and awards/fellowships. RIMS is comprised of two modules: the Research Output Module and Research Grant Module.
The user guide available at the HKU Libraries focuses specifically on the Research Output Module and provides essential information on RIMS for both researchers and department administrators. The guide covers general settings, inputting and editing records, managing imported journal articles from the Imported Article Project, and guidance on generating various RIMS reports.
